We are at the beginning of an exciting journey and we can't wait to share it with you. Owners Suzanne and Debra , along with senior stylist Gemma , have transformed the salon into a thing of beauty, a place we all love to work in and we think that you will love it too. We have all brought different things to the project and now that the renovation is complete we have been delighted by the reaction of our clients. Our team is still small but we have big dreams. We are looking forward to welcoming you.

Our salon has closed once again as part of the nationwide lockdown measures. All pre-booked appointments are sadly now cancelled until further notice. Please disregard any appointment confirmation email you may receive from our automated booking system.

Meet the team
Gemma runs the hair salon and is our senior stylist. Gemma has travelled the world as well as working her way to the top of her profession. She is well respected by her peers in the industry and was the perfect choice to lead the team at Salon in the Square.
Connie is the newest member of the team. She joins us after 9 years as a senior stylist at a leading local salon. Connie is an all rounder and is experienced in all aspects of hairdressing, her ethos is that precision and perfection is key when it comes to cutting hair. Contact Connie on 07710 689785
Debra has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She has taught beauty therapy at F.E. colleges, as well as running her own beauty therapy business at salons across the region. Debra is a CACI specialist as well as offering a wide range of other beauty treatments. Debra is the joint owner of Salon in the Square.
Dr Lou is a North Yorkshire based GP who is passionate about providing treatments for the age management of skin. She has over 8 years experience of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetics. Email Dr Lou at info@drlou.co.uk
Ella is our new Reflexologist. She is a fully insured and trained member of the Association of Reflexologists.
Ella specialises in complementary therapies, offering Reflexology and Indian Head Massage at Salon in the Square. Either of these therapies will aim to leave you deeply relaxed with an increased sense of wellbeing.

Natasha is an award-winning and highly qualified therapist with over 15 years of industry experience. She specialises in cosmetic permanent makeup and medical tattooing.
